First stop: Panoramic view over Épernay
The magic begins with a first stop up high, with a beautiful view over Épernay and the valley.
The city lights come on one by one, wrapping Épernay in a soft winter atmosphere. To warm you up, a spiced winter tea is served in the heart of the vineyards.
Settle in under the blankets and enjoy this first moment out of time.
From 1 to 19 December: the tea becomes a Christmas spiced tea, and your vehicle sparkles with festive lights.
Second stop: At the winemaker’s, cellar & hot Champagne
Head to a family-run wine estate to discover another side of Champagne.
Upon your arrival, the winemaker will welcome you with a glass of Champagne, before inviting you to a unique workshop—the details of which we’re keeping a secret… Choose your spices and ingredients, mix them together, and let your creativity run wild as you craft a warm, fragrant, and comforting drink inspired by winter traditions.
Then set off to explore the cellars with a second glass of Champagne in hand. Your guide reveals the secrets of how Champagne is made, from working the vines to ageing the bottles.
After the visit comes the coziest moment of all: wrap yourself in a blanket and settle in by the fire to taste your hot Champagne, served with a crêpe flambéed in Marc de Champagne, the region’s emblematic spirit.
A gourmet and friendly moment, with a crackling fire, the scent of spices and winter sweetness.
Third stop: The Avenue de Champagne by night
To finish, head back to Épernay. Your vintage car takes you along the legendary Avenue de Champagne, where the façades of the great Champagne Houses are revealed in the evening lights.
One last drive to admire the avenue before closing this winter interlude, and a little souvenir of your winter tour is given to you to extend the pleasure once you are back home.
From 1 to 19 December: the Avenue de Champagne is dressed in its finest festive lights, and your souvenir becomes a Champagne Christmas gift.
