Accommodation: For this weekend getaway for two, we will welcome you to our “Loft 1894”, located in Avize, a charming village in the heart of the Champagne region. A historic village renowned for its wine-growing heritage, Avize is home to several Champagne houses and is just a 10-minute drive from Épernay.

Your loft offers everything you need to make the most of your stay:

Would you like to make the experience even more special? Enjoy a unique moment of relaxation in an intimate setting, with a spa located in the vaulted cellar of your accommodation.

The experience includes 2 hours of relaxation and half a bottle of Champagne, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy a special moment together.

The excursion: Discover the Champagne region during a 3-hour vintage car tour. As we travel along the scenic roads and through the wine-growing villages, we will share the history of Champagne, its heritage and the secrets of working the vines throughout the seasons.

For this getaway, you can choose from several iconic vehicles from the 1970s and 1980s: a Renault 4L, a Citroën 2CV or a 100% electric Méhari E-Story. More than just a drive, it is a true journey back in time, taking you through the beautiful Champagne countryside. Several stops at stunning viewpoints over the vineyards will give you the opportunity to take beautiful photos and create lasting memories of your getaway.

Your experience will continue with an introduction to the art of sabrage and a tasting of a winemaker’s Champagne among the vineyards. You will then have the opportunity to step inside a winemaker’s cellar and discover the different stages involved in making Champagne. The visit will end with a tasting of 3 cuvées, allowing you to discover the richness and diversity of the Champagne region’s savoir-faire.

Important Information

A key box is installed in front of the entrance door to access the accommodation. The code for the key box will be sent to you by email. Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m., and the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. the following morning. The excursion is available in two time slots: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It can take place either before or after your check-in, depending on availability and the organisation of your stay. We will agree together on the time slot that best suits you.
