But what is ‘sabrage’? We explain to you in a few lines, this old tradition!!!

The art of sabrage

History says that this tradition dates back to the Napoleonic Wars. Besides, Napoleon Bonaparte himself would have said: “I cannot live without champagne, if I win, I deserve it; in case of defeat, I need it. “


The art of sabrage consists of opening a bottle of Champagne using a saber!

But BE CAREFUL, there is a method to succeed in your sabrage and especially not to injure yourself or break your entire bottle. You will find the key steps to remember below, but the best is to have a professional to guide you (like us for example 😉) for your initiation to sabrage.
